Hi all,

The holidays have begun for all of you, but it doesn't mean you slack off! I hope the recent examinations have served as a wake up call for each and everyone of you!

Secondary 4 will be a tough year, filled with tests, quizzes and mock examinations/revisions for every subject! So now's the time you want to start catching up on ANY of your Sec 3 work that you're weak in! (other subjects inclusive)

Having said all that, don't be afraid of the new year! If you work hard at it, you'd be duly rewarded when it all comes to an end = ]

Hi all,

Please bring along your test papers and result slips should you already have them.

Now guys, having heard about some of your results, I believe you share my sentiment when i tell you NOW's the time to start being serious about your work. Some of you periodically skip my lessons (come when you like) or are always late etc. All this means you receive my teachings in bits and pieces, which will definitely not be as helpful to you as it should be.

As such, I hope if you didn't do too well for this Exam, you'll realise it's HIGH TIME you started being serious about your work and attend my classes punctually and routinely.

Having said that, most of you have improved and I'm very proud of you lot = ]

Whatever it may be, please bear in mind that next year is the IMPT year for you guys! Work hard now and enjoy the fruits of your labour/toil/suffering later = ]

Zoo Expedition!!!

Hi guys!

As promised, we'd be going to the ZOO to celebrate the end of your EXAMINATIONS (mine too)!!! As such, I've picked to possible dates for the outing and I'd like you guys to choose a date you prefer. I will charter a bus for you guys and pay for the bus if its not overly expensive, otherwise, I'll subsidize the bus rental fee and you lot can pay a minimal amount.

We'll either be going on the 19th, or the 26th of October. I personally prefer 26th!!

Of course, attendance is optional -_- But as i will be chartering a bus for u guys, confirmation of attendence (by replying on the blog) is neccessary! I.E. If you dont say you want to come under the comments column, I won't buy the tickets at special price for you etc..

As i will be taking an exam on 11th Oct'2008, Lessons on that day will be cancelled /rescheduled /disrupted.

Sunday's lesson for that week may or may not continue after i receive feed back from you guys in class this week. As such, it's important for you guys to turn up this Saturday and Sunday for your lessons, so please make the neccessary arrangments to come (ie buy a rooster so you dont oversleep)

Secondary group tuition WORK

Hi all,

This is a confirmation of the work which I've assigned to you guys this week!

1. Read the short story 'Mrs Bixby and the Colonel's Coat'
2. Pick out 10 new/difficult words. Find out their meaning and form sentences with these new/difficult words. Please be prepared to share these words with your classmates!!
3. Look for the key ideas/themes in the story e.g. BETRAYAL!!! as we'd be writing a narrative/descriptive essay next week.

Secondary Group (13th Sept)

Hi all,

Lessons will be held at block 691 this Saturday from 9-11am (same goes for Sunday).
Please be punctual. I'm sorry I'll have to side-track a little here, but I can't begin to stress enough how being punctual is to your own advantage, as well as mine of course. When you're late, the entire class waits for you, and should I choose not to wait (when you're atrociously late) and begin without you, you'd be missing out a large portion of the lesson!

So once again I IMPLORE YOU, to please make it a point to be on time! Take the necessary measures! Get a friend to call you, buy more alarm clocks, hire a Rooster, sleep earlier the night before etc.

Secondly, I'm sorry to announce this, but it seems Jessie, Sherryl and Vanessa will no longer be joining us for lessons = [ For whatever reasons they may have, I wish them best of luck in their studies!! = ] Having said that, I hope Zhi Hui and Nway Nway aren't too affected -patpat-

Thirdly, I'd like to highlight that I may potentially move Saturday's lesson from it's usual slot, 9-11am, to 11am-1pm beginning next Saturday. PLEASE TAKE NOTE! And do reflect to me if this new time slot will affect you drastically/ you are unhappy with the shift...

Having said all that, I'd like you all to complete your comprehension before class. Leave the summary alone, We'll be working on that in class = ]

Even though most of you have only been with me for a month or 2, I'm very pleased to 'report' that several of you have improved by 2-3 grades! I shall not steal your credit people, because like I've always said, if you bother to put in the effort -however minimal since i barely give you lot any work -_- - you'd definitely benefit from my classes! = ]

In short, I am very proud of you all!
